Woolacombe in Devon holds some very fond memories for me. I’ve visited a number of times and if someone asks for a recommendation of places to visit in the UK, Woolacombe is always the first place that comes to mind for me. Did you know that my first ever restaurant review on this blog was of a restaurant in Devon? Unfortunately the restaurant is no longer there, but the coastal town is still a favourite of mine, so I headed back this summer. Here are my six tips of things you should do when visiting. 1. Spend a day on the beach It goes without saying that you need to spend a day on Woolacombe’s award winning beach. The 3 mile long sandy beach has been voted the Best Beach in the UK many times and was this year voted The Sunday Times Best Beach of the Year.
